I'm so excited to share my entry for today's prompt, which is Black and White nails!
Because I prepared a few manis ahead of time just in case I had a day when I absolutely could not paint my nails for whatever reason, I did this mani on a Saturday night, so I wanted to be sure to create something that was more on the elegant side to wear to church on Sunday.
Saturday was also my birthday, which meant new nail goodie goodness! So I couldn't help but use one of my new plates and a new nail charm.
I decided I wanted to add a little pop of color to spice it up, so I planned on doing a kind of half moon look peeking out from behind my bow charm. Instead of trying to paint it on over my already stamped nails and risk having to re-do them, I painted a line of pink polish onto my silicone mat (I use one made by mod podge, not for nail art, that I bought at michaels with a coupon for about $4). Then I just peeled the polish off and stuck it where I wanted it to go on my nail.
I was so in love with this mani, I didn't want to take it off, but such is life during this challenge. Maybe I will re-use this formula again someday.
Check out the other black and white manis here:
So lovely! I love the way the stamping points down the nails.

ReplyDeleteThank you! Yeah, it is perfect timing to have my birthday towards the beginning of this challenge because it gives me an excuse to try out all my new goodies.
