Beach Silhouettes: Just Be Free ft. Bundle Monster

Hello Readers!

This week's Crumpet's Nail Tarts prompt is "Beach/Animal Silhouettes." I always love a good palm tree silhouette over a gradient background, so I decided to go with the beachy side of things. Also, I ended up wearing this for the 4th of July, so it's a little bit patriotic in a more subtle way.

I think it kind of looks like an acid wash.

So I started off this mani with two coats of one of the new Sinful Colors polishes, from the Back-to-School collection. I used the blue polish and a makeup sponge along with the peach to create a gradient over the top of that.

I picked this Bundle Monster plate up when I ordered the new Shape Nouveau collection- you know, to knock my order up a couple more dollars to qualify for free shipping. I'm always wishing I had more word art images when I'm creating manis, so I was pleased with all the phrases on this plate. It's part of the "Festival" collection and has been around for a while.

The palm tree image comes from another Bundle Monster plate, from the "Hangloose" collection.

Finally, I decided to make the mani a little more "Independence Day" appropriate and add this adorable star pattern from the Bundle Monster + Nailedthepolish blogger collab plate.

Hope you enjoyed this mani! Be sure to check out the link-up below for more silhouette looks!

  1. Love the soft gradient and really like that shade of blue. I bought a stamping polish from Pueen to qualify for free shipping. It's a legit technique and a great excuse. 😉

  3. You basically described my mani in that opening paragraph ;) , it's always what I think of when I hear Beach Silhouette. However I love your take on this prompt, the colours are gorgeous and so subtle.
