Hello Readers!
I'm here today with a Simple Sunday post that is actually quite simple this time. :) It's been a while since I've pulled out the lovely "Pinksicle" polish from the Kandee Johnson/Sinful Colors collection, so I decided to play with that a little bit and just add some simple stamping over it.
I kind of feel like that carousel horse on my ring finger it hard to recognize.... Maybe it's just me, though.
So Pinksicle is one of those polishes that, if you really want to, you CAN build up to opacity in approximately eleventy billion coats. I didn't feel like doing that today, so instead I used a very pale pink for a base and swiped a coat of Pinksicle over the top of it.
My images come from this MoYou London "Circus" collection plate. I love all the delicate carousel images on this plate- I think they are lovely and adorable. I'm still not 100% sold on that horse head profile, though- I thought it would be so lovely and delicate, but maybe it's a bit too detailed because to me it's hard to recognize.
Fun theme. 😀I think you're right about the horse's head though. Maybe if you had colored in part of it...
ReplyDeleteYeah, I think it would be more recognizable if it had been colored in. I guess that's what I get when I go "full simple"- ha! The mane is just so intricate that it ends up looking like a bit of a mess.
DeleteI love the polishes you chose here! I really like the image on your index and pinky :) I agree though the horse is a bit hard to recognize
ReplyDeleteThank you! Yeah, if I ever use it again I will definitely try coloring it in. ;)
DeleteThe colours here are gorgeous, maybe it's the shimmer that blocks the design from popping. However I love it & am sure it looked perfect irl.

Thank you! The shimmer polishes are so,fun to wear, but they can make designs a little harder to see.
DeleteThe light pink SC is beautiful :)
ReplyDeleteIsn't it lovely? I love the shimmer running through it and I want to use it more, but it doesn't often fit my theme. 😜
