It's time for the second installment of the 31 day challenge, which is another color prompt: Orange!
I decided to break out the fall themes for the first time this year, even though it isn't quite fall yet, especially where I live, because orange just seems like the perfect fall color, and because I really wanted to try out this lovely polish I just got:
When I finished this mani, it was too dark outside to take pictures in natural light. I took the below picture that same night, and the above the following morning. Unfortanately my rhinestones shifted a little bit during the night. Yeah, they weren't perfectly straight to begin with but in the morning they were a bit worse! Ha ha oh well.
For this mani I used two polishes from the Revlon Parfumerie line: Orange Blossom, as pictured above, and Autumn Spice, which is that lovely brown with shimmer running through it. I also used Sinful Colors "Yolo Yellow" to fill in the leaves. My stamping polish is Bundle Monster "Freedom Ring", which is specifically formulated for stamping.
Originally I was going to use the tape trick to split my middle finger nail into two colors, but I am way too impatient to use that trick and I always end up messing up my nails because I put the tape on them too soon and my polish comes up when I remove it. So I figured a straight line should be easy enough to do on my own. After I painted the offset line, I added a row of rhinestones to help bridge the transition from brown to orange.
Here's the stamping plate I used; it's from Bundle Monster's Holiday collection:
Be sure to check out all the other orange nail art for today's prompt! Until tomorrow, happy polishing
